Apartment Review for Blythewood Apartments - Philadelphia, PA

The office staff is incompitent and don't know how to do their jobs. They messed up my rent by putting under the previous renter's name and actually called debt collector's saying I owed over $2000 in back rent. They close the office early out of what I can only assume is laziness, and when they are there, they are not very helpful. When I went to rent my apartment, they wouldn't show me my actual unit, so I had no clue what it looked like or what condition it was in before I had to sign the lease.

As far as the apartment is concerned, it needs renovated...and soon. Our floors are wood and they creak so loud when you walk on them. The apartment looks like it is perpetually dirty, regardless of how much I clean, because they just paint over dirt. The kitchen is disgusting...I hate to even cook in there...not to mention the mice problem. This winter, I caught 4 mice in traps in 2 weeks time, and I'm sure there were more around before I put the traps out. They eventually called an exterminator in the spring and the mice seemed to stop, although that could be due to the warm weather.

Bottom line, the price is fairly good here for what you get, so if you are someone who doesn't mind living in a hell hole, then Blythewood is the place for you.
