Forced Relocation
Review Date: 9/19/2005 Reviewer: Anonymous
Chestnut Hall Management is in the process of forcefully relocating ALL residents who have valid leases so that they can begin renovations to the upper floors of the building (and work downwards over the next months); it appears that many of these residents are already seeking legal counsel. Don't move here only to have to move again temporarily for several months as and when management decides that they want to begin renovations to your floor. Flanked by three pubs (Cavanaughs, Blarney Stone, O'haras), noise is already an issue for residents on weekends. Street construction on Chestnut and Sansom has exacerbated this concern. With the additional dust and noise from the planned renovations, one simply cannot recommend Chestnut Hall as a residential option. |
