Apartment Review for Korman Communities-Winchester Walk - Philadelphia, PA

My husband and I lived here a year and couldn't wait to get the heck out. I don't know where to begin...now remember, this is just our opinion! The apartment itself is so old and gross, the apartment we ended up in was no where as nice or updated as the "model" they showed us, even though we were told it would look exactly the same as the model. The windows are 100 years old and very dangerous. The kitchen and bathrooms are also ancient and no matter how much you clean them, they are never clean. We couldn't even put our kitchen dishes, etc. in the cabinets because they smell so old and musty and then your dishes stink. The "new" rugs were done so badly they are already coming up. The walls INSIDE get all wet when it rains and then the apartment stinks. And the neighbors, both living in the complex and in the apartment homes just behind, I just don't have the words. I NEVER leave a window or door unlocked EVER!!! Maintenence...good luck and if they do show it's never fixed right and they will actually tell you that! The basement/garage area is something out of a horror movie! Bugs, bugs, bugs everywhere. The absolute WORST place we have ever lived and I wouldn't recommed it to my worst enemy. Again, this is all just our opinion, but I am a very well educated, CLEAN, and decent human being and am just trying to save anyone from wasting their hard earned money renting here and living to really regret it.
