Apartment Review for Lehigh Park Apartments - Philadelphia, PA

Upon walking up to the main door, you'll notice the door has been damaged from multiple break-in attempts. In the "Foyer" You'll find the Housing Managers Office. The Housing Manager of this building is a short, chubby character that does not know how to manage his tenants. His know it all mentality and all talk; no action attitude has put this apartment complex as one of the worst in the Philadelphia Area. Upon entering the first floor of the building, You notice only one of the two elevators is functional half the time and even functional is a ride you want to make as short as possible. The doors get jammed closed most of the time and only open with the button from inside the elevator, there is no close button on the elevator. The walls have graffiti all over them and when they do not might as well huffed spray-paint from a paper bag. The hallways have tiles missing, dirty, smelly and not properly maintained by the janitor of the building. The stairs smell like urine, cigarettes among other things. The majority of the top floor apartment ceilings are collapsing from holes in the roof. The other apartments in the other floors have minor defects that tenants have complains about and management does nothing but say we will get on it. The laundry room in the basement looks it came out of a horror flick. This place is one of the worst places to live in the Philadelphia Area. I do not recommend anyone to apply in this location. Mike
