Apartment Review for Pine Spruce Associates Llc - Philadelphia, PA

I lived around this neighborhood for a year and it's been delightful and relatively quiet. Neighbors are nice and keep to themselves. The building I lived in is old so the heating pipes always rattled through the walls which made it hard for me to sleep at night. The overall appearance of things looked good, but don't be fooled by it's glamorous superficiality. The people I dealt with to get things fixed are located in Uwchland, PA and probably have never seen the unit I lived in. They're a separate bunch dealing mostly in banking and investing so my property owner was a banker. They're two company names like Pine Spruce Associates LLC and Stonehedge Funding. I had to go through a banker to get things fixed and here comes the best part. Their maintenance crew are incompetent, unprofessional Mexicans who barely speak English. I never had any of the problems fixed because they kept on breaking so I stopped trying after a while. Yes, there will always be problems in apartment living but just be warned, don't be fooled by the superficial looks of a place because the core of it all has to do with the functionality of the place and the people you deal with. It was certainly not worth the 1250/month and for anybody who's looking at apartments managed under the Pine Spruce Associates LLC, just keep an open, watchful mind on what you're getting into.
