Apartment Review for Upsal Gardens - Philadelphia, PA

This place is aweful. I moved in 5 years ago. The apartments were nice. About a year ago the place became infested with cockroaches and mice. It's disgusting, and managemnet will do nothing. In the past few months you can see them climbing up the outside and inside walls. Real properties, who ownes this site, is fully aware of the problem. They are to cheep to fix it. Also, the lights outside are always broke or dim. Peoples cars are always getting broken into. A few women have been mugged. They claim that havionga pool here is a plus. They never open it. Last year they didnt open till the end of July and they close it by September. The hours are rediculious. 4-7 mid week, 12-5 weekends. The pool is dirty and never warm because they are too cheep to trim down the trees that hand over it. Its filled with leaves and bugs. No sun even hits it. Even the laundy room is gross. the machines are old and breaking all the time. Most people still have to leave and go do their laundy somewhere else. Do yourself a favor and DON'T live here.
