Apartment Review for Windermere Court - Philadelphia, PA

I have lived here over a year, and have constantly been looking for a new place, since the day my lease was up. I should have known it was shady from the first day I went into the Leasing OFfice and the guy, Sam, just hyped the place up...requiring no credit check, no proof of income, NOTHING! he just simply took my deposit, my first months rent, and gave me keys to move in whenever. Besides the problem with ROACHES that occurred for practically the entire time I lived there, I had endless mice! A man had came into my job the week I signed my Lease and I realized that his address was the same as mine, so I asked him how he liked the apartments and he straight up told me that it was infested with BIG COCKROACHES!! and boy was he correct...I am very tidy, so it wasnt because I was nasty. it is just a problem. The people are never in the office, maintenance does an okay job and is friendly. One time I locked myself out of my apartment and I called the maintenance people and they let me in with no problem! that was appreciated, but they didnt have a clue as to who I was or if I really lived there, but asked for no ID or anything! i was kinda nervous about that. People on my floor leave there trash in the hallway for days, no one says anything, my other neighbor spokes weed all day long, and another smoke cigarettes...directly across from W.Philly HIGh which is also annoying. Please save yourself the headache and DO NOT MOVE HERE! a mess.
